Kurabesi Explorer combines a traditional atmosphere with modern conveniences. Our unique vessel is designed and built with sustainable tourism, conservation and social activities in mind.
Kurabesi Explorer is fully owned by Indonesian professionals, and was build with a spirit to promote nature conservation, local culture and community empowerment, with emphasis on east Indonesia regions of Papua, Maluku and Ternate.
Kurabesi Explorer is a classic 28m wooden Phinisi Schooner, built with ironwood and beautiful teakwood cabins and furniture that give the vessel a warm, comfortable atmosphere. She takes up to 14 passengers for cruising trips, or 12 people for dive trips. Each of her cabins are equipped with air-conditioning and bathrooms, outfitted with hot water and flush toilets. Although she was built in a traditional Phinisi style, Kurabesi Explorer is a modern vessel and out in the wave since 2015. She is a new diving and cruising boat, fitted out with comfort in mind.
CABINS
Total 6 guest cabins; 2 cabins with double beds and 4 with bunkbeds max 14 guest for cruising, and 12 guest for diving trip.
5 cabins on the lower deck and 1 cabin on the main deck.
Each cabin has a private bathroom with hot water, flush toilet and shower; individually controlled air conditioning; changed towels, bed sheets and covers; reading lights; and storage area and cabinets.
